Ron Holland's beautifully designed Quarter Tonner.
Strawberry Duck is currently in the yard at Bluepoint Marine in Liverpool having recently been kept in Liverpool Marina. She is in full working order but could do with some time and effort tio tidy her up. However the hull and decks are sound. The engine was refurbished shortly prior to her being taken out of the water by her previous owner and is in good working condition.
She has a small fixed bladed propeller with a rope cutter and an ebberspacher heater, which was working, when she was lifted into the yard.
she has 4 berths, a sea toilet and galley.
Her sails are an older set of Austin Farrar, made from Dacron and in serviceable condition. However she has 2 spinnakers in excellent condition one with a Snuffer chute.
Once refurbished, she will be an exhilarating boat to sail. she would be a comfortable pocket cruiser. However her home should be in the Quarter Tonne revival fleet. Were you would have a competitive fun boat to race on a modest budget.
