South Coast One Design Classic Yacht
1956
Hull number 17 built by Aero Marine of Emsworth in 1956. Constructed of Hondurus Mahogany on Canadian Rock Elm with Oak frames. Sloop rigged long keel. Tiller steered. Stainless Steel standing rigging (unknown age). Keel stepped Silver spruce mast. Hank on forestay. Roller reefing boom.
Boat maintained in good order and in regular use. Last out of water in August 2011. New stainless steel keel bolts. New decks in epoxy sheathed marine ply . New cabin roof. New toe rails and rubbing strake. Iron strap floor has been refurbished with new timbers and new Stainleess steel fastenings.
ACCOMMODATION:-
4 berths. 2 berth forecabin with with storage under. Hanging locker to port. Log burner to starboard. Saloon with 2 single settee berths. Storage under. Galley area to port. Nav station to starboard with good size chart table. Mahogany sole throughout.

Single battery (new) XM DSC VHF Radio. Clipper Duet depth and speed. Wind indicator. Steering Compass. Solar panel for trickle charge. Taylors 2 burner paraffin stove. Log burner with chimmney. Gimballed Paraffin lamp. Stainless steel water tank (new). Aluminium fuel Tank.(new)
Petter mini six diesel engine, shaft drive with 3 bladed prop. Spare 2 bladed prop. One manual and one electric bilge pump. Nav lights.
SAILS:-
2x Genoas. Yankee. Fully battened Mainsail. 2 x Lewmar 7 Winches
Fishermans anchor with chain. Fenders and warps.
